Starting a business wasn’t the plan, but I’m glad it happened.

Photography definitely wasn’t part of some grand plan. I picked up a camera out of curiosity, took a few photos, and thought, “Oh… wait. I actually love this.” Before long, people started asking me to photograph their lives too.

What hooked me was seeing how real life looked when it wasn’t posed—the quick glances, the genuine laughs, the moments people didn’t even realize were happening.
I didn’t start this because I had everything figured out. I started because I was tired of watching life rush past without anything real to hold onto.

Turns out other people felt the same way. Now I get to turn the messy, real parts of life into something people can come back to in a way that's anything but average.

YOUR MOVE

Real moments don’t belong to one kind of person, and every story deserves to be seen.

I’ve always believed a photo is only as good as the energy behind it. For me, it’s never been about standing still and looking perfect—it’s about movement, laughter, and the kind of moments that feel electric because they’re real. Somewhere along the way I realized something important: the camera isn’t a judge, it’s a witness.

My focus is simple—clearing the awkwardness so you can actually exist in the moment. Because the best photos don’t come from forcing something perfect; they happen when you forget the camera is even there.

Maybe that means blasting a playlist to break the tension or chasing a vibe that refuses to be boring. Either way, we do it your way.
This is an unapologetically inclusive space for the loud ones, the quiet ones, the weird ones, the soft ones, the wild ones—and everyone in between.

For the couples rewriting the rules, the families that don’t fit a mold, and the humans who’ve been told they’re too much or not enough.
Let’s burn the rulebook and make something that actually feels alive.

LET'S GOOOO!

AUTHENTICITY OVER PERFECTION

Life isn’t polished, and your photos shouldn’t pretend it is. I’m not here to manufacture moments or force you into a version of yourself that looks good on paper. The magic lives in the real stuff; the laughter that sneaks up on you, the quiet moments, the unfiltered energy of being fully yourself.

YOUR Experience Matters

Getting photos taken shouldn’t feel like a performance or a chore. It should feel like an experience you actually enjoy. Whether we’re blasting a playlist to break the tension, chasing good light, or laughing our way through the moment, the goal is simple: you leave feeling like you had a damn good time.

Every Story Deserves to Be Seen

Real moments don’t belong to one kind of person. Love, family, identity, and life itself don’t fit into a single mold- and neither does my work. This is an unapologetically inclusive space for humans of all backgrounds, identities, and stories. You belong here exactly as you are.

I'M ALWAYS CHASING MOMENTS THAT ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE SOMETHING

I’m Wisconsin born and raised — which basically means I grew up around cold winters, strong coffee, and people who don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. Around here, nobody cares about perfect. What matters is showing up, being honest, and laughing through the hard stuff when life inevitably gets messy. That mindset stuck with me, and it’s exactly how I approach photography.

I got hooked on photography because of the connection between people. Not the perfectly posed kind — the real kind. The quick glance across the room. The laugh that comes out of nowhere. The quiet moment when nobody realizes anyone’s watching. I’m a wife, a mom of three, and at one point I even carried a baby for another family as a surrogate. That experience alone will change how you see people and their stories. It taught me something important: the moments that matter most are almost never the polished ones. They happen when you’re tired, emotional, overwhelmed, and completely yourself.

LET'S GET WEIRD

The best photos never come from some perfect blueprint. They show up when the walls come down and real life takes over. I might take a minute to read the room at first, but once the ice breaks I’m all in. I’m the one geeking out behind the camera because your connection is unreal. I’m the one handing you a tissue when your mom zips your dress. I’m also the one who will absolutely change a diaper during a newborn session if needed… because that’s just real life.

I take the responsibility of documenting people’s lives seriously — because the moments I’m capturing are the ones you’ll look back on for the rest of your life. And every kind of human belongs in front of my lens. Whether your story looks traditional or you’re flipping the script completely, you have a place here. I’m far less interested in industry “standards” and way more interested in the people who’ve been told they’re too loud, too quiet, too weird, or too different to take center stage.

No fakes.
No filters.
And absolutely no interest in making your life look like a stock photo.

Also fair warning: I will probably say ‘OMG cute’ at least 40 times during your session. 😂

You don’t need to perform here.

You just get to exist.

FUN THINGS

TO KNOW ABOUT

me

I’m a licensed hairdresser!
I still work part-time behind the chair, which means I’ll absolutely notice if your hair looks amazing (or if a rogue strand needs fixing).

I used to work as a dental assistant.
I genuinely loved it and still get weirdly excited about helping people understand dental health.

I’m an art person through and through.
Painting, drawing, sculpting—if it involves creating something, I’m probably into it.

I have a lot of tattoos.
I’m a fan of lifelong art projects.

I’m definitely a cat person.
But growing up I had just about every pet imaginable… including an iguana and a hedgehog.
